Man of the Match Andy Lowe’s leveller secured a fair share of the spoils for a threadbare Urmston Hockey Men’s 1s as they drew 1-1 with Alderley Edge 2s.

Lowe scored his second goal in as many games to equalise after Alderley’s bizarre opener with the draw solidifying their mid-table position.

Elsewhere, the Men’s 2s stretched their unbeaten run to seven games as they beat South Manchester 1s 4-2 with the win moving them up to second.

The Ladies’ 1s edged Prescot 1s with a 3-2 win while the Ladies’ 2s thrashed University of Manchester 2s 5-1 to move up to third place with a game in hand on second-placed Didsbury Northern 4s.
