Club targets strong start as all teams return to action
Four games at Fortress Wellacre in full club season opener after Ladies' 2s set the bar high.
With the Ladies’ 2s opening the season with a win last week, the rest of the club are hoping to get in on the action with four games at home.
First up on Saturday, the Men’s 1st XI start life in the North West League as they host Blackpool Men’s 1s at 1:15pm.
The Men’s 3s follow on at 3pm as they welcome West Derby Men’s 3s – a notoriously hard game.
On the road, the Ladies’ 1s will be hoping to get their season off to a flying start when they travel to Bolton Ladies 1s.
The Men’s 2s will also be out on their travels as they head to Golborne Men’s 2s hoping to start the season strongly.
On Sunday, there’s a Didsbury double as the Ladies’ 2s and 3s take on their local rivals at midday and 1.30pm respectively down at Wellacre with the 2s already in flying form having won 3-0 last week.
