Ladies' 1s romp home 4-2 with a clinical strike from Starlet Isobel Seed capping the scoring.

Isobel Seed’s majestic solo goal capped a brilliant team performance for the Ladies’ 1s as they beat Bolton 4-2.

Seed was joined on the scoresheet by in-form Rachel Kelly, Stacey Brown and a thunderous Danielle Harvey strike.

The Men’s 2s were made to work for their win over Warrington 1s but edged the encounter 1-0 to move fifth.

Despite being in the ascendancy for the majority of the game, the Greens struggled to find a way past the dogged Warrington defence but eventually their pressure paid off to take all three points.

The Men’s 3s boosted their survival hopes as they beat Didsbury Northern 7s 3-1 moving them up to fifth in the table.

Andy Power scored his seventh goal in three games but the Men’s 1s were unable to make their chances count as they fell 5-3 to league-leaders Liverpool Sefton.

Mike Tonge immediately cancelled out Sefton’s early opener before the visitors raced into a 4-1 half-time lead.

The Greens were left to rue wasted chances however as their rally came too late with Power and Sean Barrett netting in a dominant second-half performance.
