Ladies leave it late to sink Timperley, Coopers on target to end Didsbury's perfect run, Men's 2s winning streak continues and Ladies' 3s battle back.

Urmston’s Ladies’ 1st XI struck late to snatch victory from Timperley Ladies 2nd XI in a thrilling finale to their 4-3 win.

With two minutes remaining, the home side trailed 3-2 before two late goals swung the match with Halle Sadri, Stacey Bell, Becky Crossley and Players’ Player Jess Walton netting to steal the points.

The Men’s 1st XI stretched their unbeaten run to five games with a tense 2-2 draw against league-leaders Didsbury Northern Men’s 1st XI.

The visitors entered the game with a 100% record but goals from Man of the Match Robin Cooper and Ollie Cooper earned a deserved draw with goalkeeper James McLaughlin also saving a penalty.

Rob Skelley was goalscorer and provider for the Men’s 2nd XI netting once and assisting twice in a tough 4-3 win over Didsbury Northern Men’s 4th XI.

Man of the Match Aaron Kelly also netted along with Luke Durkan before Jonathon Downes netted the winner to seal their fourth consecutive win and move into second place.

On Sunday, the Ladies’ 3rd XI fought back against a well-drilled Bury Ladies’ 2nd XI after trailing by three goals at half-time.

A brace from players’ player Becky Chandler-Dodd marked the home side’s rally but the third goal eluded them as Bury left with the win.
