Andy nets four as Men's 1s topple table-toppers, Seed bags a brace as Ladies' 1s repeat the feat, and Smith shines as Men's 3s win again.

Andy Power netted another four goals and the Man of the Match award as the Men’s 1s edged a thrilling encounter 7-5 with league-leaders Windermere Men’s 1s.

He was joined on the scoresheet by Stefan Wasilewski, Sean Barrett, and a rare goal for Andy Lowe as the Greens sealed back-to-back wins.
The Ladies’ 1s also staged an upset as they beat table-topping Deeside Ramblers 2-1 as Issy Seed helped herself to another brace.
The win broke Deeside’s 100% start to the campaign as Urmston moved up to ninth place with the three points.

The Men’s 2s were on the receiving end of a similar upset as they were beaten 1-0 by Bury 2s while the Men’s 3s moved up to sixth place with a 4-2 win over Bowdon’s 8th team.

Man of the Match Martin Smith netted a brace for the 3s, the first a glorious strike on the turn, before Andy Shenton and James Wright notched from freeflowing attacks.

Goalkeeper Ryan Cherry was again in miserly form between the sticks, supported by his resolute defence of James Kelly, Jim Mair, and Ray Adamson.
