A 1:15 push back at Fortress Wellacre, sees the Legends Team, full of Old Boys who once donned the famous green shirt face off against the current Urmston 1st team squad.

Former and current players that have played in the National League, North Prem and represented England and Wales at both youth and full international level, will comprise the side that Captain Mike Power hopes will showcase the best of what the club has produced or nurtured.

Urmston skipper Martin Stonehouse trusts it will be a good barometer for his side, “I think we will have to show what we have been working on in training over the last month or so. The side we will face is full of quality and experience, they know how to win and will use every trick to gain the upper hand”. “Pre-season has gone well for us thus far and we’re looking to carry that on this weekend and beyond into the league season”, Stonehouse enthused.
