Man of the Match Luke Fidler had cause to celebrate as a hat trick on his return from injury helped the the Men’s 1s pick up all three points in a 6-3 win over Liverpool Sefton.

After a slow start saw them 2-1 down at the break, it was a five-star showing in the second half to down their opponents.

Meanwhile, the Men’s 3s were unlucky to lose 2-0 to rivals Didsbury Northern 7s despite Neil Slater’s shining goalkeeping performance in his return to action while the Ladies 2s fell 4-3 to Glossop.
