Showpiece vets game tops the bill as teams return to league action

The Ladies’ 1s will open their league campaign as they host Triton Ladies’ 1s at 11am at Wellacre.

Following on, the Men’s 1s make their return to the North League as they host Brooklands Men’s 3s – last season’s third-placed club.

Out on the road, the Ladies’ 2s travel to Glossop 1s while thhe Men’s 2s and 3s head to St Helen’s 1s and City of Manchester 4s respectively.

On Sunday, the Ladies’ 3s make the short journey to rivals Manchester Moss Park 3s.

Rounding out the weekend’s action, some familiar faces battle it out with Sale veterans as Urmston’s vets turn out on the grass at Urmston Sports Club.
